So I spent the weekend doing what I hate most - chores! I got mostly everything done, including some laundry, bedsheets, vaccumming... but I didn't get it all done.
I had to get up early this morning to finish another round of laundry, including work clothes and what not. There's still a bookcase + two boxes worth of stuff that I need to get through (that's next weekend). It's from when I was rearranging my room... I got fed-up and tired one month, and didn't finish my project... I must finish that!!
*sigh* God, I really hate chores. I wish I had a maid!
One of my guilty pleasures... Justin Timberlake. *blushes* I've been meaning to buy this DVD of his FutureSex/Love Sounds concert forever, but I never did... until this past Monday. I was at FutureShop, and they were playing it on one of the TVs, which prompted me to buy it... boy, subliminal messages work well on me. ;-) Luckily for me, it was on sale! Go me! Still haven't watched it yet, but I'll get around to it soon.
On another note, Monday was exhausting. One would think that after a busy Sunday, I'd sleep in more. But I didn't... and then I had to spend the day with my cousin and uncle (who is in town for my cousin's graduation). Lots of family in town this month...
... for work. This is by far, one of the worst pictures I've taken since I started Project 365. Yet, this is so representative of what I just did. Although this post is past midnight, this is a picture for Sunday, May 18th.
I just finished moving a super heavy desk for work, from one location to my office, crossing two bridges in the process. It was such a big thing, that I needed both of my parents to help me in the end. I'm so glad they love me, because they helped without complaints! We took the table apart, moved it, and put it back together. It didn't take a long time, but because we had to borrow a van (and wait until it was available), we had to do it pretty late at night.
Anyways, it's all done now (despite us putting the legs to the table on backwards, but it works. I may fix it on Tuesday). One day left of the weekend to relax!!

I swear, this picture totally looked way better on my Blackberry than it does here... There was something about the overcast sky & clouds that just appeared more interesting when I took this at around noon.
Anyways... I went there to pick up my cousin who was staying at a friend's. Nice, upcoming area, with lots of little kids. It used to be a supper yuppy place with couples only, but now, they've had kids... so tons of little kids.

Side Note: *sigh* I missed Friday, Day 33... I'm sorry. So busy!
I really didn't know what to title this post to go with this Project 365 picture. When I took the picture, it was a bit of a fluke. I actually had a few pictures of around the same time, but after looking through them, I liked the colours in this one the most. It's a lot more intense compared to the other ones (which I've deleted by accident, stupid me). I love the different hues of blues in this photo.
Side Note: I find that the more I'm into Project 365, the more I realize I need a digital SLR. I can't afford it yet... that's the goal. Also... I'm not quite caught up to posting all the pictures from this past week yet. I'm working on it.
I love puzzles... I love the challenge of building them, and seeing my hard work at the end. This new puzzle is a little different though.. I don't have the box, and I have to return it to a friend later. It's part of a bigger puzzle. He was having a really hard time building "the wave", and when he found out I was a puzzle nut, he challenged me to give it a try. I said "sure". Now I just have to find time to do it... soon!!
Totally on my way!! My travel agent dropped off two coupon books for the cruise. I'm so excited because we're less than a month from going on the cruise. I'm desperately in need of a vacation. As much as I gripe about work sometimes (it can be super frustrating), I do love my job... but it's exhausting, so regular time off is needed, meaning a vacation is a must. I can't wait!!
Spent most of Mother's Day with my Mom and Grandma. It was a good day starting with brunch - good food & conversations, and ending with dinner. Unfortunately, there wasn't much time to snap any pictures (even of the food) because we tend to eat quickly. Dad & I did manage to get some pictures of the nice cherry blossoms outside of Grandma's house.
That picture is actually pretty freaky. For a moment there i thought it was surgical! lol read more
