Things I Loathe:

• Continued soaring gas prices.
• Back pain.
• Crazy family in town.
• Crying babies.
• Stuffing envelopes at work.
• Bad coffee (I was not impressed by Second Cup).
• Whiny employees.

Things I Love:

• Great episodes of my favorite tv shows (Bones, CSI, Criminal Minds, etc).
• Being able to write again.
• Good food.
• Getting to sleep in.
• Long weekend last weekend - had Friday off!

Things I Loathe:

• Doing a computer software upgrade at work with a 30GB hard-drive.
• Nearly crashing the work system twice because of the upgrade.
• Breaking in new heels - painful!
• Spending so much money to get pretty.
• Constantly having to deal with parents who negotiate the hell out of everything.

Things I Love:

• Getting enough sleep.
• Feeling pretty.
• Coffee!
• Finally being able to watch a new episode of Bones.
• Being gifted a homemade pie by a parent/client.

It has happened! Michael Rosenbaum has decided not to stay on Smallville as a Series Regular. While neither Rosenbaum or the show runners have written Lex Luthor out of Season Eight, Rosenbaum has kept true to his words, that Season Seven would be his last season on Smallville. My Opinion: It's about time! Michael is a talented actor who needs to spread his wings. While I have no doubt SV has been a great launching ground and has taken him from a small-time actor to a full blown star, he needs to broaden his horizon. I can't wait to see Michael tackle other roles, possible tougher and even more complex and dramatic roles. I just hope he won't be cursed like many who make a name for themselves through one show and becomes cast-typed. (Think Mark-Paul Gosselaar transitioning from Zack Morris and beyond). I really hope to see more of Michael in other roles, other shows, and on the big screen.

• Vox Mobile Blogging. It works!
• Finally getting my brows waxed.
• People actually thinking I weigh 105lbs. Hahah! I haven't seen that number in years!
• New shoes! Yes, I bought a new pair of shoes.
• Spring Flowers. It's finally spring!

Gifts from a client/parent... This was also the first time I tried the Vox Moblie Blogging. Oh so handy! (By the way, sorry the picture isn't so great, I was driving - but at a red light - when I took this picture).

Puzzles

1. I love to build puzzles. My parents and I have built 14 puzzles in the last five years.

2. I write. I've been writing fanfiction with a friend since second year university. I'm now 24 and have been out of school for more than a year.

3. I love jewelry, especially rings.

4. I'm a huge bookworm. This is just a fraction of the books I own; however, this picture provides the range that I'm currently reading and interested in.

5. I'm a tv junkie. The tv was my babysitter growing up, and I'm still glued to it.

6. My collection of DVDs. I love watching movies but because I have no time to hit the theatres, I'm forced to purchase.

7. I'm a huge Starbucks fan. Although I do drink other coffee, I love my 'bucks.

8. I've been playing the piano since I was 6. I stopped participating in recitals and exams after I turned 16, but I still love it.

Tulips & Daffodils

Last year on Mother's Day, I posted our local gas price (which ended up being the all time high of 2007). Today, we've finally surpassed last year's high (per litre).
