Loathe:

• Back pain.
• Credit card bills.
• Time difference for watching the Olympics.
• Scorching hot weather over the weekend; so hot that I didn't want to do anything.
• Going back to work.
• Terribly cold weather today (it rained).
• Idiot supervisor treating me like a child.

Love:

• Being able to drink a little coffee.
• Had last Friday off!
• Spent the day with family.
• Grandma's birthday!
• Sleep.
• Being able to help the kids who come to my office (despite the fact that I don't "love" love being there day in/day out).

• Paying bills.
• My "big" boss is coming to the office tomorrow, during our teaching hours. Busy! Not good!
• Still going cold turkey on coffee.
• Need to clean my room.
• Back pain.

• Had Monday off!
• I'm okay with tea now.
• Finally done my laundry.
• 4 day week!

Things I Loathe:

• Being bored.
• Serious back pain.
• Lack of sleep.
• Working the morning shift on Monday.
• In desparate need of a haircut, but my hairdresser isn't available until Thursday.
• Visa bill.
• No more coffee for me.
• Needing to go to Costco for more hot chocolate because my Mom gave my other hot chocolate packets away.

Things I Love:

• Being able to leave work early.
• Finished reading White Oleander.
• Good food.
• Writing with angel again.
• Hot chocolate (in place of my coffee).

Things I Loathe:

• Stress leading to anxiety leading to insomnia leading to the need to medicate.
• Clients standing me up aka not showing up to meetings.
• Clients being complete bitches over the phone when you clearly did nothing wrong.
• My co-workers screwing things up for me leading me needing to clean up the mess.
• Street repaving and more leading to unnecessary traffic jams.
• Totally being unable to read anything... nothing can keep my attention.

Things I Love:

• Friendly clients pleased with the progress of their program.
• Reading crazy news like Tom Cruise considering a sequel to Top Gun.
• Having good food with my cousin.
• Loving the fact that my supervisor is going away as of tomorrow and won't be back until the first week of August.
• My muse actually being away and being able to write with AngelFish.
• Bought a pair of cute silver ballet flats. Got them at Payless Shoes for cheap. They were American Eagles. I've been wearing them to work and they're kinda tight, but I'm sure the fabric will loosen up.

Things I Loathe:

• Being really hungry.
• Not being able to start my Slim-Fast/Veg diet because I didn't have time to go to the store to pick up some Slim-Fast & Veggies.
• Going to Costco and not being able to buy bocconcini because the box was too big for me to eat by myself and no one else eats it at home, so I'm stuck!
• Clients forgetting to call, assuming they called, and then dropping off their kids at my doorstep.

Things I Love:

• Coffee!
• Having dinner with my grandmother, uncle & cousin almost nightly. Makes for great conversation and a wider variety of food.
• Sleeping in on the weekend.
• Family friend visited on Sunday - dinner and a birthday celebration!
• Being able to leave work early yesterday! Thank you supervisor!

Things I Loathe:

• My [old] laptop dying. Poor thing, the HD malfunctioned.
• Saying goodbye to family members.
• Dealing with bad customer service.
• A stressed out boss causing me more stress.
• Idiotic clients/parents.
• Being woken up early on a Saturday & Sunday to clean the house.
• Unexpectedly spending $1000.
• Working a Monday for the first time in 2 years.

Things I Love:

• My new laptop.
• New furniature in my bedroom. A better haven than before but not perfect yet.
• Having dinner with my grandma regularly.
• Shorter work hours.
• Having 24GB of my [old] HD recovered. Better than nothing.
• Getting more sleep.

So, I took a month off to recharge, both physically and mentally. I'm back now... with my first return post to "Things On Tuesday". Hopefully, I'll be able to post more regularly, and talk about my trip & time off.

Things I Loathe:

• My parents bothering me when it's a long weekend.
• Idiots jumping off a bridge, disprupting traffic.
• Stupid people.
• Work calling on my day off.
• Getting screwed by the boss.
• Saying goodbye to family members.
• Rising gas prices.

Things I Love:

• The long weekend, with two days off from work!
• Lots of good food & chatter w/ my family.
• Purchasing and watching both seasons of Bones.
• Being able to veg in front of the TV with old tv shows on DVD (Kitchen Confidential).
• Finally having my bedroom turned into a semi-sanctuary. It's not quite all there yet but I'm working on it.
• Searching for a new car and found something I like (never mind that the sales guy was young and cute)!
• Blogging again!

• Being able to write again.

• Getting to sleep in.
• Long weekend last weekend - had Friday off!

• Doing a computer software upgrade at work with a 30GB hard-drive.
• Nearly crashing the work system twice because of the upgrade.
• Breaking in new heels - painful!
• Spending so much money to get pretty.
• Constantly having to deal with parents who negotiate the hell out of everything.

Things I Love:

• Getting enough sleep.
• Feeling pretty.
• Coffee!
• Finally being able to watch a new episode of Bones.
• Being gifted a homemade pie by a parent/client.
